AYM & Faster than Sound: The Chimes Hour

From Monday 27 October Aldeburgh Young Musicians (AYM) and Faster than Sound will be bringing their creative and collaborative forces together to develop ‘The Chimes Hour’ – a modular composition for the Hoffmann Building ‘linking multiple spaces in an interlocking sonic ecosystem’.

We’re now in full flow at Aldeburgh Music for this year’s Aldeburgh Festival, with 8 concerts featuring all manner of genres, from chamber music to electronics.

James Weeks and Russell Haswell on Faster Than Sound: Earthquake Mass

For the first time, this year’s Aldeburgh Festival features a Faster Than Sound event, Earthquake Mass, on Saturday 14 June. Faster Than Sound is Aldeburgh Music’s series of innovative and experimental collaborations, with new work devised and performed all in the space of a week-long residency.
